Getting started

How do I get Pic2VidTour?

Three ways, one account:

The app is free. You only pay for the tours you generate.

How do I create an account?
  1. Open the app or app.pic2vidtour.com and tap Sign up.
  2. Enter your email and choose a password. On the web you can also continue with Google.
  3. Choose Make my first video to go straight to your listing photos. Branding is optional: choose Add my branding first for a short card-based wizard, or return to Profile later.

Use the same sign-in method every time. Signing in with Google one day and with email the next creates two separate accounts.

Do I need a credit card to sign up?

No. Sign-up is free and there is no subscription. You buy a credit pack only when you are ready to generate a tour, and you see the tour’s exact price before you buy anything. See Credits & billing.

What is a “tour”?

One listing, one video. You give us the listing’s photos, we turn each one into a short cinematic camera move, cut them together on the beat of a licensed music track, open on the address and close on your contact card. You get a 16:9 version for the MLS and YouTube and a 9:16 version for Reels and Stories.

Starting a tour

What are the three ways to start a tour?

Tap New. Choose one card: Address, Listing link, or My photos. Only the selected method opens:

  1. Type the address. We search for the listing and show you the matching house with its price and photo count. Confirm it and the photos import.
  2. Paste the listing link. A Zillow, Realtor.com or brokerage page URL works. We pull the photos, the address and the price.
  3. Upload photos by hand. Pick 5 to 40 photos from your phone or computer, type the address, and optionally the price.

Whichever way you start, you land on the same photo-selection screen, and nothing has been generated or charged yet.

Why do I have to tick the photo-rights box?

Because the photos are yours to license, not ours. At upload you confirm you have the rights to use them, the same responsibility you already carry when you post them to the MLS, Zillow or Instagram. The box is required on all three ways in.

Most agent agreements cover marketing use of listing photos. If you are not sure, check your photographer’s license before you upload. Full text: Terms of Service.

How many photos do I need, and which ones?

5 to 40 photos per listing. A 12 to 25 photo tour is the sweet spot for a 60 to 90 second video.

Wide interior shots of the main rooms carry the tour: front exterior, living room, kitchen, primary bedroom and bath. Then yard, dining, foyer, office and twilight shots. Guest rooms and community photos last. Our planner puts them in a sensible order.

Photos of a car in the driveway are fine; the car stays parked. Very busy photos with lots of small objects animate less well than clean, wide ones.

What happens to a floor plan?

If the listing has a floor plan, we keep it for planning only. It never appears as a scene in the video, and it is never charged.

Address search cannot find my listing

Try the full address with city and state. If the listing is brand new, off-market, or a pocket listing, it may not be searchable yet. Paste the listing link instead, or upload the photos by hand.

Photos and the quote

How is the price worked out?

Every included photo becomes one AI scene at $1.50. Photo pans, the music track and your closing contact card are included at no charge. The quote is the sum, and it updates live as you include or exclude photos.

Example: 12 photos included reads 12 AI scenes + music = $18.00. Exclude two and it reads $15.00. The minimum selection is five photos ($7.50). There is no setup fee, and nothing is charged until you approve the storyboard. If your available credit covers the selection, the app shows $0 to pay. A six-photo starter uses $9 of credit; with a $10 balance, $1 remains.

How do I exclude or reorder photos?
  1. On Select photos, tap the × on any photo to leave it out. Tap again to bring it back.
  2. Drag the handle on a photo to change the order. The planner’s order is a good default; move things only if you know the house better.
  3. Tap Review storyboard.
What does the storyboard show?

One row per scene, in order: the photo, its room label, the exact camera direction that scene will get, its length, and its cost. The last row is your contact card. The total at the bottom is the same number you saw on the photo screen.

You can add your own direction to any scene, a few words like “linger on the fireplace”. It is added to that scene’s prompt. Directions that ask for movement we do not do (a car pulling in, a sideways slide, something appearing) are ignored rather than charged.

Can I leave the contact card off?

Yes. The storyboard’s last row has a tick box for the closing contact card. Untick it before you approve and the tour ends on the last room instead. Adding or removing the card later is a free edit in the director chat.

What does the approve button actually do?

It is the only moment money moves. Tapping the priced button reserves the quoted amount from your credit balance and starts generation. Before that, nothing has run. If your balance is short, you are sent to buy a pack first, and the tour waits as a draft.

Generating

How long does a tour take?

Usually within the hour, and often well under it. You do not have to stay on the screen: leave the app, and we send one notification when the finished tour is ready. Opening the tour early shows a plain status line, not a countdown, because generation time depends on the house.

What happens to my photos while the tour is made?

In order: each photo is labelled and placed in walking order; every scene is filmed as a slow camera move; every clip is quality-checked against its photo; flagged clips are re-filmed once at no charge; the tour is cut to the beat of the music; the address and your contact card are added; both versions are finished at 1080p.

We never say “upscaling” or “rendering” in the app. You see plain-language status like Making your tour and Almost ready.

What does the quality check look for?

Each clip is compared with its photo. We flag warped walls and doorways, furniture that moved, objects that appeared or doubled, a car that moved, a view through a window that changed, a camera that drifted into a mirror, and a first frame that does not match the photo.

A flagged scene is re-filmed once, free. If the re-film also fails, that scene ships as a clean photo pan of the real photo rather than a bad clip. You can ask the director to re-film it afterwards for $0.65.

The tour says “Needs attention”

Generation failed on our side. Any credits spent on that run are already back in your balance. Tap Try again: it takes you back to the storyboard, where you see the quote again and press approve deliberately. A retry can never charge you twice behind your back.

If it fails a second time, email pic2vidtour@gmail.com with the listing address and we will look at the run.

Director chat

What is the director chat?

The editor. It sits under the video on every finished tour. Type what you want changed the way you would text a videographer: “swap the music for something calmer”, “put the kitchen before the living room”, “trim the scene at 1:17”, “change the price to $512,000”. The director works out whether the change is free or paid, tells you, and either applies it or waits for your OK.

Quick-action chips above the box cover the common ones. You can also tap the microphone and say it.

Which edits are free?

Anything that does not re-shoot a scene with AI. That includes:

  • swapping the music track, or asking for “more energy” or “calmer”
  • reordering rooms, dropping a room, trimming a scene
  • changing a room label, the address, or the price banner
  • adding, removing or updating your contact card
  • changing the cut style

Free edits re-render the tour from its recipe in a few minutes. There is no limit and no charge, ever.

Which edits cost credits?

Re-filming a scene with AI: “redo the kitchen, slower”, “re-film the backyard”. Each re-film is $0.65. The director prints the price in the chat and shows a confirmation with the cost and your running total for this tour. Nothing runs until you confirm.

The chat itself is free. Asking questions costs nothing.

How do I point at a specific moment?

Use the time on the player: “the scene at 1:17” or “the kitchen at 0:42”. If you say a room and a time that do not match, the director asks which one you meant instead of guessing and charging. Say the minutes as well as the seconds: “one seventeen”, not “seventeen”.

What will the director refuse?

Anything that would show what the photo does not: adding a room or a feature, making a car drive, opening a fence, moving furniture, a sideways slide that reveals space outside the photo. These are refused and never billed. See Rules & compliance.

Where are my earlier versions?

Under the chat, Version history lists every cut of the tour with a Watch link. The player always shows the latest. While an edit is rendering, the previous cut stays watchable and a banner says the update is on its way.

Your brand

What goes on the video?

The address at the open. If you enable it, your optional contact card at the close: headshot, name, phone, email, brokerage and logo, taken from your brand profile. A small “Made with Pic2VidTour.com” tag sits in the corner of the card by default.

How do I change my brand profile?
  1. Tap Profile.
  2. Tap a detail card to edit your name, phone, email or brokerage one at a time. Add your logo or headshot if you want them.
  3. Save.

New tours use the new profile. To update the card on a tour you already made, ask the director: “update my contact card”. It is a free edit.

Can I turn off the “Made with” tag?

Yes, free. Open the tour, tap Export & share, and switch off “Made with” tag.

Download and share

What files do I get?
  • 16:9 video (landscape, 1080p) for the MLS, YouTube, your website and Facebook.
  • 9:16 reel (vertical, 1080p) for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Stories and Shorts.
  • A share link you can text or email to a seller. It plays in any browser.

Open the tour and tap Export & share to download either file or copy the link.

Can I post the video with its music?

Yes. Every track in our vault is licensed for commercial social-media use as part of your delivered video. Post it anywhere. What the license does not cover is pulling the music out of the video and reusing it on its own.

Credits and billing

How do credits work?

Credits are dollars. A pack is worth exactly its face value: Starter $19, Pro $45, Studio $120. Approving a tour or confirming a paid re-film spends from the balance; a failure on our side puts the amount back. There is no subscription and no monthly fee.

How do I buy a pack?
  1. Tap Edits (the wallet) and pick a pack.
  2. On the web, and in the iPhone app on the US App Store, tap Buy with Stripe. Stripe’s secure checkout opens (on iPhone, in Safari); we never see your card number.
  3. In the iPhone app outside the United States, the purchase goes through the App Store and your Apple ID. In the Android app, the purchase goes through Google Play.

The balance updates as soon as the payment lands, and every purchase and charge appears under History on the same screen.

I bought credits on my iPhone but they are missing

Tap Restore purchases under the Buy button. It re-reads your App Store receipts and adds anything not yet credited. A purchase is only ever credited once, so restoring is safe to repeat.

When do I get credits back?

Automatically, whenever a generation or a paid re-film fails permanently on our side. You never pay for a failure.

Credit-back does not apply to scenes that generated successfully but are not to your taste. One automatic quality re-roll per flagged scene is already inside your quote; beyond that, a further fix is a paid re-film at $0.65, quoted before it runs.

Can I get a refund on unused credits?

Credits are not cash and are not transferable between accounts. If something has gone wrong with a purchase, email pic2vidtour@gmail.com with the date and amount and we will sort it out with you.

Account and data

How do I delete my account?
  1. In the app, open Profile and tap Delete my account. Or go to app.pic2vidtour.com/delete-account and sign in.
  2. Type DELETE to confirm.

Right away: your brand profile, chat history, and the photos and address on every tour are erased, and you are signed out everywhere. Within 20 days: your tours, their videos, your credit history and the login itself are permanently removed. Unused credits are not refunded. Videos you already downloaded stay with you.

Changed your mind inside those 20 days? Email pic2vidtour@gmail.com from the same address and we restore what is left.

Where are my photos stored, and who can see them?

In private storage. They are not public, not indexed and not browsable. Share links use unguessable addresses, so only the people you send a link to can watch. We keep photos and tours while your account is active so free re-edits stay instant, and we delete them when you delete your account. We do not use your photos to train models and we do not reuse them in anyone else’s video. Full text: Privacy Policy.

How do I contact support?

Email pic2vidtour@gmail.com from your account address. Include the listing address of the tour you are writing about. We reply from the same mailbox.

Troubleshooting

The listing link did not import

Some listing pages block automated access, and some links point at a search page rather than one property. Check the link opens a single listing in your browser. If it still fails, use the address search, or download the photos and upload them by hand. Nothing is charged for a failed import.

Photos are stuck on “Analyzing”

Pull down to refresh, or close and reopen the tour. If a photo stays stuck for more than a couple of minutes, exclude it and continue; you can add it back on a later edit. Let us know the listing address so we can look at the file.

A scene shows something that is not in the photo

That should never ship, and we want to know. Email pic2vidtour@gmail.com with the listing address and the time in the video. Meanwhile you can ask the director to re-film that scene, or ask it to drop the scene (free).

The video looks soft or small

Both downloads are finished at 1080p. If a platform shows it soft, it is that platform’s own compression; upload the original file rather than a screen recording, and use the 9:16 reel on vertical platforms so nothing is cropped.

I cannot see “Continue with Google” in the phone app

That is expected. Inside the iPhone and Android apps you sign in with email and password. Google sign-in is available on the web at app.pic2vidtour.com. If you created your account with Google, set a password from the web sign-in page (Forgot password) to use the same account in the app.

My tour is taking longer than an hour

A large listing with many re-films can run long, and a provider outage can pause the queue. The tour resumes on its own and you still get one notification when it is done. If it passes two hours with no change, email us the listing address.

Rules and compliance

Real photos only. What does that mean in practice?

Every scene is animated from one real photo of the actual property, and the camera never travels toward space no photo documents. We do not generate rooms, features, views or square footage the house does not have. Requests to do so are refused, not billed. A tour that shows what does not exist misrepresents the listing, and we will not make one.

What never moves?
  • Cars. A car that is in the photo stays parked. No car is ever added, and nothing drives past a window.
  • Furniture and objects. Indoors, nothing moves except a ceiling fan that is already in the photo. No swaying curtains, no appearing props.
  • Mirrors. The camera never approaches or enters a mirror, and reflections never move on their own.
  • Windows. Whatever is visible through the glass stays exactly as photographed.

Our quality check enforces all four before a clip reaches you.

Do I have to disclose that the video is AI-enhanced?

Rules differ by MLS and board, and they change. If your board requires disclosure, add it where your listing appears. Checking your own board’s current guidance is your responsibility; Pic2VidTour is not affiliated with any MLS or board. This is general information, not legal advice.

Who is responsible for photo rights?

You are, by ticking the box at upload, exactly as when you post the photos to the MLS or social media. We cannot verify a photographer’s license and we do not try. You keep ownership of your photos; uploading gives us only the license we need to make and store your videos. Full text: Terms of Service.

Is the music licensed?

Yes. Every track in the vault is licensed for commercial social-media use as part of your delivered video, and we keep the license receipt for each one.
